A remarkable survivor of the middle ages - parts of this Grade II listed building date back to the 14th & 15th centuries, and there has been an inn on the site since 1306. http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-216828-the-lad-in-the-lane-public-house-#.WMED82-LSM8

Round Road, Birches Green
From the map, it's obvious where the name 'Round Road' comes from, as it does a complete circuit of the inner part of this housing estate, with a variety of roads and closes radiating out from it. Here, Birches Green Road runs off to the right, heading NNE towards Kingsbury Road.

Birches Green Substation
I'm just guessing that that is the correct name. I also assume that the structure bridging the canal carries supply cables. Any suggestions as to what this could, should or is called; an electroduct?
