Vacant housing land, Pype Hayes
At junction of Bowcroft Grove and Elphinstone End, the fenced off area with slight incline once stood 2 storey council flats. Whilst new housing has been built on once allotment land (on right), the vacant space is yet to be redeveloped.

Bowcroft Grove once ended here with lock-up garages directly ahead and a block of 2 storey council flats on the left (in front of fence). These were demolished, as were allotments behind them, to make way for Penndale Close and Elphinstone End (ahead).
