Vacant housing land, Pype Hayes
At junction of Bowcroft Grove and Elphinstone End, the fenced off area with slight incline once stood 2 storey council flats. Whilst new housing has been built on once allotment land (on right), the vacant space is yet to be redeveloped.

Bowcroft Grove once ended here with lock-up garages directly ahead and a block of 2 storey council flats on the left (in front of fence).
These were demolished, as were allotments behind them, to make way for Penndale Close and Elphinstone End (ahead).

Entrance to gully at bottom of Penndale Close. In foreground are foundations of former lock-up garages, demolished before new housing was built here.
The gully footpath runs up to Berwood Farm Road.

Hervey Grove gulley to park
