What's with the Bins!
There appear to be phantoms around the Chester Road / Orphanage Road junction that have taken the phrase 'taking out the trash' to extreme lengths - they are TAKING the trash/bin themselves! Happening regularly, no wonder the council is delaying replacement. See

Call the fire brigade ! Santa's stuck !
Despite his undoubted climbing and abseiling qualifications, Santa came a cropper during one particular delivery last night. This morning he was seen hanging on, whilst the fire brigade was called.
After checkups at hospital he was given the all-clear to return home. He was not well enough to drive any vehicles, and so had a lengthy journey involving several changes of taxis (sleighs). Plans for future work on an updated Cadburys Milk Tray advert have had to be postponed. Several phone calls to The Santa Hotline were resolved by promises of sleigh rides over Birmingham next year.
