The Jaffray Building in Erdington
A former school and children's home, dating from 1903, and once known as the Fentham Road Girls' School. This particular building stretches back southwards some considerable distance from the road here. It was attached to the Aston (or Erdington) Union Cottage Homes for orphaned and separated children on the other side of Fentham Road, as there was originally a nearby workhouse and almshouses. The Cottage Homes in due course also looked after children whose parents were ill, or serving in the armed forces, etc.

Terraced houses on Gravelly Hill North
A row of (probably) Victorian terraced houses on the west side of the road. The apparent carriage entrances under each pair make for an unusual feature, but they seem to have escaped the listing process.

Georgian postbox on Gravelly Hill North
Box B23 203D situated on the west side of the road. Miraculously, it appears to have avoided being knocked down by traffic in all these years (I hope saying that doesn't curse it)
