Ex GWR Hall class 4-6-0 6946 'Heatherden Hall', Birmingham, 1960
On the western approach to Snow Hill Station under Kenyon Street bridge, waiting for a through passage. The approaches to both the main railway stations tended to be pretty gloomy, particularly from the west. The Hall class were classed as mixed traffic locos but only towards the end of steam operation would they normally be allocated to unfitted freight working like this.

Petrol filling station, corner of Constitution Hill and Livery Street
The two roads converge at a small angle. The elevation gives a view of the business district. The overhanging glass facades, right of centre, are the office developments nos. 1 and 2 Snow Hill, alongside the rail station. On the left is one of the twin spires of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cathedral. CCTV much in evidence at this junction.
