The Moor Pool Estate is a Garden Suburb founded by John Sutton Nettlefold between 1907 and 1912 consisting of around 500 houses built across 54 acres. One of the estate's distinguishing features was the provision of green spaces, as seen here. See http://moorpoolhall.org.uk/heritage/history.html for history of the estate.

Former benchmark - Harborne, entrance to 150 Court Oak Road
A rather damaged OS cutmark near to the entrance to 150 Court Oak Road. It appears to have been superseded by Image, and it's rather hard now to tell if it's even the right way up.

OS benchmark - Harborne, entrance to 150 Court Oak Road
On the gatepost at the entrance to 150 Court Oak Road, this OS benchmark was levelled in 1956 at 177.055m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. Whether it's a replacement for a similar but damaged mark Image a few yards to the east is speculation.

The Moor Pool Estate is a Garden Suburb founded by John Sutton Nettlefold between 1907 and 1912 consisting of around 500 houses built across 54 acres. One of the estate's distinguishing features was the provision of allotment gardens for the residents. Later on, garage courts were built on some areas of allotments, although in time some of these were allowed to fall into disrepair and some have been redeveloped. My wife's parents and family rented on the estate for over 110 years. See http://moorpoolhall.org.uk/heritage/history.html for history of the estate.
