Lordswood Road
Part of the Birmingham outer circle (No 11) bus route. I'd like a £1 for every time I walked up & down this road in my youth - it would almost pay off my overdraft!

Blakeney Avenue
Due to the busy nature of the Hagley Road certain routes are used to get from Fitzroy Avenue to the Hageley Road. This road is a good way to get to traffic lights which allow one to turn right or left onto the Hagley Road.

Bus in Bearwood bus station
A 447 from West Bromwich via Londonderry lays over in Bearwood bus station before making its return journey. This is a very small bus station (only three or four stands if memory serves) as it is served only by routes that terminate in Bearwood. However, it rates a cafe, part of which is visible behind the bus.

Lightwood House
This building has had several names over the years - what it is now I've no idea! The doorway nearest to the two gentlemen in the picture used to be the entrance to one of the coldest & worst stocked cafes I've ever known - but then that was in the 1950's!
