Apollo Hotel, Hagley Road
At the time of photography, this large hotel appeared to be empty with not one car in the car park. But it has plenty of very recent (albeit average) reviews, as well as a website taking bookings, so must be trading.

Norfolk Court, Corner of Hagley Road and Rotton Park Road
This residential block seems to have either retained its original windows or have replica replacements. I think it looks all the better for it.

Edgbaston War Memorial
Located just to the SW of the rather splendid
Image, and was erected in the 1920s, initially as a memorial to the local men who gave their lives in WW1. It was altered and further names added after WW2, and then attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101430856-edgbaston-war-memorial-at-st-augustines-church-edgbaston-ward#.XhbYNMj7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1430856 in 2015.

St Augustine's Road, Edgbaston
Leading north off Hagley Road, St Augustine's Road is dominated by the spire of St Augustine's church which dates from 1868. The streets around here are quiet and leafy but there is an air of faded elegance about them.
