The former J W Evans silver works that is now owned by English Heritage. The ground floor is full of drop stamps and this is just one row. The works produced material in base metal that was sent elsewhere for final silver plating. Unfortunately this Heritage Open Day tour did not include the first floor with the lighter fly presses operated by women.
