The Highbury
The Highbury pub occupies a prominent site at the junction of Dad's Lane and Moor Green Lane. It was built in the 1930s, or possibly the 1920s, on the site of three cottages to serve the occupants of the new estates being built nearby. It is presumably named after the nearby Highbury estate of Chamberlain fame.
