The large area of hard paving is not very welcoming. A Porch to the front doors would be a useful addition. But alas the money !!

Old Milepost by Old Harpenden Road, Bernard's Heath, St Albans parish
Cast iron post by the UC road (off A1081), in parish of ST ALBANS (ST ALBANS District), Old Harpenden Road, Bernard's Heath, on steep bank, on East side of road. Luton iron casting, erected by the Luton District turnpike trust in the 19th century.
