The school was built in 1936, replacing an older one north of the main road and west of the harbour which was demolished.

Fisherman Statue
The sculpture is by local artist Correna Cowie. The inscription on the plinth reads "These see the works of the Lord and his wonders of the deep".

Methodist Church
William Hendry (1868-1934) of Buckie designed this church, which was opened in 1916. It replaced one down in Chapel Street, now the Salvation Army chapel. See Image
