Spey Valley Brewery
There seem to be lots of small breweries and gin distilleries popping up these days, and this is one. Their web site is at http://www.speyvalleybrewery.co.uk/ They also produce gin under the brand name Anither Gin, and I am told by both beer and gin drinkers that their products can be recommended. Though I was amused to read that the botanicals, "hand picked from the heart of Speyside with the help of foraging experts 'Hipsters and Hobos'", include coriander, lemon, orange, and cardamom, none of which are actually known to grow in the wild around here.

Field Entrance
It might be more accurate to say entrance to waste ground, as there has clearly been no attempt to cultivate it this year, and it is full of wild flowers.

Looking towards Malcolmburn
The large buildings in the shade in the distance are the whisky bond at Malcolmburn, where whisky is stored as it matures. The law requires the spirit to age for at least three years before it can be described as whisky.
