Chapel Street
The street is so named because it leads from the square up to St Thomas' Roman Catholic Church, the dome of which is visible at left. These three houses are late 18th century, and the second and third one have some interesting architectural embellishments.

I wonder what the curious little arched opening in the gable above the door was for? At some point a second door has been added to the left of the original door, completely ruining the careful symmetry of the building.
