Keith Station
The modern Keith station building has room for little more than a ticket office, a tiny waiting room and a toilet, all of which are locked after about two o'clock when the staff go off duty. Compare with Image] which is not far from the same viewpoint. Note also the change in the logo since Image] was taken.

Keith goods yard
Now a Network Rail depot. This was once the Great North of Scotland main line from Keith Junction to Dufftown and Elgin but latterly became a branch line to Dufftown only. It is now totally severed between here and Keith Town station and the line is now a siding. The platform sees use for overnight berthing of the Belmond Royal Scotsman luxury train.

Keith (Junction) railway station, Banffshire
Opened in 1858 by the Highland Railway on the line from Aberdeen to Inverness. View east towards Grange and Aberdeen. For many years it was called Keith Junction as the Great North of Scotland Railway, which diverged to the right here, had a station at Keith Town. Smile!
