Dounie Cottage
This cottage was ruinous but has been well restored to be lived in. It is named as Doony Hall on older maps.

An Erratic?
This large boulder at the side of the road must surely have been dropped by a glacier. My companions, more imaginative than I am, thought it looked like a large animal, perhaps a bison, asleep.

Beside the Burn of Rothes
Somewhere downstream here there is said to be an ancient burial ground, but even the First Edition of the six-inch Ordnance Survey map labels it with a question mark.
