Ballindalloch Shop
The shop, post office and filling station at Ballindalloch is the last roadside filling station southbound until you get to Edinburgh 150 miles away. It's also the one and only shop beside the Tomintoul Spur of the Speyside Way http://speysideway.co.uk. I like to fill up there because if people like me don't support places like this, they won't be there much longer for us to use.

The old Bridge of Avon
This old stone bridge was built in 1754 and remained as the crossing point of the river until the construction in 1978 of the new concrete bridge which can be seen in the middle ground. The old bridge can still be used by pedestrians.

Bridge of Avon
This rather unlovely concrete bridge carries the A95 over the river Avon. It dates from 1978 and replaced the nearby 18th century stone bridge for use by motor traffic.
