Rosemount Church RIP
Built ca. 1870 and originally Rutherford Free Church. It was named after Samuel Rutherford, the 17th Century theologian, who was "banished" to Aberdeen for his nonconformity. He is probably no longer a household name, but thank goodness for Google: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Rutherford . It fell out of use in the 1990s.
