Rosemount Viaduct (http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/sc-20076-rosemount-viaduct-over-upper-denburn-vall ) helped the city expand to the west over the Denburn valley.

Tenements on Rosemout Viaduct (rear view)
This is, I think, Aberdeen's tallest tenement block (seven stories) although only the upper levels are occupied. The bridge over Upper Denburn is visible to the right.

Well of Spa
Moved from its original position in Spa Street, it is now in a small garden on Skene Street, at the rear of the HM Theatre. This was George Jameson's, the famous artist's, four-neukit garden. In the background is Woolmanhill Hospital.

Former St Paul's United Free Church
Built 1891. For the very complex history of the congregation arising from the Relief Church (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relief_Church ), see Gammie, The Churches of Aberdeen (1909), and now available for free on-line. Now offices.

82 Rosemount Viaduct
This is the former St Paul's United Presbyterian church, built in 1896-1897 to a design by Ellis and Wilson, and now one of a confusingly large number of buildings called Skene House. It seems that all of these are run by a company offering flats for rent.

Well of Spa, Aberdeen.
This old well has been moved several times. It's now in the wee garden at the back of the Central Library but earlier it was built into the wall of Woolmanhill Hospital in Spa Street. There even was a Spa Bar there. First records place the well in George Jameson's "Four Neukit Garden" - a location for plays where Shakespeare might once have performed.
