Denis Law
Detail of the statue of the most famous Aberdeen-born footballer. Denis Law unveiled it himself at Aberdeen Sports Village in 2012. Unfortunately he was never signed by The Dons, Aberdeen FC.
The sculptor is Alan Beattie Herriott.

Denis Law - "Legend"
Statue at Aberdeen Sports Village of the most famous footballer to be born in the city. He is taken in characteristic pose after having scored a goal for Scotland in a 3-2 victory against England at Wembley. The statue was designed by sculptor Alan Beattie Herriott and unveiled by Denis Law himself in 2012. What a pity he was never signed by The Dons.
