Beach Boulevard
Aberdeen University Engineering Association students are conducting a bus pull in aid of Aberdeen Students' Charities Campaign. The bus left from Hazelhead and was pulled over 3 miles via Queens Road to Union Street before heading to the beach. The use of a telephoto foreshortens the view.

Hanover Street School, Aberdeen
Hanover Street School serves a residential area just a few hundred metres from the city centre. It is one of a number of massive three-storey granite primary schools built about 100 years' ago in Aberdeen.

Branch to Waterloo (Goods)
Aberdeen's first station closed to passengers as early as 1867 when the new Aberdeen Joint Station opened, but the branch-line is still open to freight. In the background a solitary "silver bullet" china clay tanker is parked: http://flic.kr/p/c8aHiU . The yellow sign between the tracks indicates "zero miles" (the starting point for surveying the line towards Inverness).
