Location where Sir William Wallace's arm is buried
When the great Scottish patriot was butchered at Smithfield in London (there is a memorial near the spot outside St. Barthlomew's hospital where he was hanged and quartered) his body parts were sent to be displayed at various cities of Scotland and England in an attempt to deter others. Aberdeen got an arm which it is said was buried here at St Machar's Cathedral. The star on the wall at the SE corner of the graveyard marking the spot.

Dunbar Halls of Residence
Looking along Harrow Street towards a small two storey building on Don Street, and with higher blocks behind. Dunbar Halls was one of the University of Aberdeen's halls of residence. The blocks were built in 1969 and received a Civic Trust Award at the time. They were demolished about 2003 and as far as I am aware, the site is still to be redeveloped.
