Haudagain deviation
A much delayed £50 million road building project to improve traffic flows at the notorious Haudagain roundabout in Aberdeen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haudagain_roundabout ) is open at last as of May 2022. Here we see the junction of the A96 (left to right) with the new link road. According to Celtic Place-names in Aberdeenshire by John Milne, 'haudagain' means 'field of the cattle fold'.
