Kingswells Nursery and Infant School
Originally built in 1932 now with portacabins to cope with numbers of children in this growing community. The Junior part of the school is in more modern buildings in the centre of Kingswells which is itself being extended as so many new homes are being built in Kingswells.

Former Kingswells School
Built 1932. When Geographer Lizzie photographed it in 2005 it was the nursery and infant school (https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/11449 ) but it now serves as a council-run 'outdoor adventure centre', which, according to the Aberdeen City Council website, serves school groups as well as stag and hen parties.

Park and Ride at Kingswells
Park and ride facility for Aberdeen based at Kingswells at 866064 to serve traffic coming in from the west. For a cost of £2.60 one car can be parked and up to 5 people transported into the city centre by bus.
