Culter House
Plaque on the west side wall of the house, installed by the owner at that time, Theodore Crombie, a senior partner in Granholm Woollen Mills Aberdeen, and his wife Margaret Blaikie Crombie, the date denotes the start of a major renovation, during which a disastrous fire broke out. Theodore Crombie died in 1922 and the house was bought by architect Marshall McKenzie, hence the house passed to St Margaret's School for Girls to be used as a boarding house, and latterly as a nursing home, now privately owned
