Aberdeen Fish Merchant Premises
Before the North Sea oil boom, Aberdeen was a busy fishing port with a large fleet and extensive on-shore services. There are only a few fish-related business in the harbour now.

Past glories at Torry?
The nostalgic sign of the Grampian Bar shows the traditional Torry activity of gutting and packing salted herrings (probably low paid, smelly and dangerous).
