Boathouses
Various rowing clubs have boathouses on the reach of the River Dee above the Victoria Bridge. The nearest one is AUBC, which I take to be Aberdeen University Boat Club, and the next three blue gables are the Schools Boathouse, belonging to the Aberdeen Schools Rowing Association. The two brown gables belong to Aberdeen Rowing Club.

Primary School
The oldest part of the building is at the far end, dating from 1895. There are large 20th century additions. By 1938 the school had 1600 pupils, and is said to have been the biggest in Scotland at the time.
