On the Chain Briggie
The Wellington Suspension Bridge was built in 1830 and helped the development of the fishing village, Torry, on the Kincardineshire bank of the Dee. Today, the bridge only carries pedestrian traffic.

Wellington Suspension Bridge
Erected in 1830, this bridge was reconstructed 100 years later. It's no longer used by vehicular traffic, which now crosses the River Dee by a new road bridge.

Wellington and Queen Elizabeth Bridges
The nearer bridge is the Wellington Suspension Bridge, and behind it is the Queen Elizabeth Bridge which now carries motor traffic between the city centre and Torry.
