Closed about two years ago and currently used by the after school club but surely phased for demolition.

Grampian Place
Neat 20th century council housing with unusually decent-sized windows. It's amazing how effective a row of wheelie bins can be in spoiling the appearance of a street.

Torry Neighbourhood Centre, Oscar Road, Torry
Torry has been blighted by substance abuse more than most communities and this "one stop shop" (see: http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/xcc_NeighbourhoodDetail.asp?id=2593&ind=4&ind2=47&cat=2) is one response from the City of Aberdeen.

Primary School
The oldest part of the building is at the far end, dating from 1895. There are large 20th century additions. By 1938 the school had 1600 pupils, and is said to have been the biggest in Scotland at the time.

Walker Road Primary School, Torry (main building)
They don't build schools like this any more... Walker Road Primary covers a huge, somewhat sprawling site and faces onto both Walker Road and Grampian Road.
