Aberdeen Power Station
The main building of the former Aberdeen Corporation power Station on Millburn Street. The building was latter used by the North of Scotland Hydro Electric Board. It is one of a few old buildings left at the site, which is being redeveloped for housing.

Built ca. 1840 and B-listed: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/sc-20268-1-8-inclusive-numbers-devanha-terrace-inc . According to Historic Scotland, the unusual name of Devanha would appear to originate from the Romans, who referred to Chester as "Devana" because of its situation on "Deva" or Dee, much like Aberdeen, which has also been so called.
