Aberdeen - Holburn Street
The "Country Ways" shop at the corner with Willowbank Road carries a new (2024) mural on its gable end. "Watch yer chips!" - Conzo & Glöbel’s contribution to the city's Nuart mural collection features "Super Scurry", the chip-snatching seagull.
Note the traffic cones and "road closed" sign as the town has new lines painted for bus lanes.

Aberdeen - Archibald's
Another one bites the dust. Archibald's furniture store at the corner of Holburn Street and Great Western Road opened for business in 1901 and was taken over by Sterling Home. Here in 2024 the old shop buildings are advertised for sale and the cones in the road have been deployed during white line painting for bus lanes.
