Holburn Junction, Aberdeen.
This is the west end of Union Street where the roads fork to left (Holburn Street and south) and to right (Alford Place and west). The old granite buildings were mainly upmarket Victorian houses but the ground floor facades tell today's story of banks, building societies and chain store shops. The castellated building at the junction was Christ's College and is now a pub.
