A gold post box stands on Golden Square in Aberdeen. The post box has been painted gold in honour of Neil Fachie, an athlete from Aberdeen, winning a gold medal at the 2012 Paralympic Games.

Aberdeen: postbox № AB10 97, Golden Square
A large, Elizabeth II-reign (but pre-1994) postbox stands on the north side of Golden Square, and is painted gold in honour of local Paralympian Neil Fachie's gold medal at the London 2012 games.
