The Waggon public house is situated on the south west corner of the mini-roundabout where Chase Side crosses Chase Way, with the entrance to ASDA on the opposite corner to the left of the photographer. Originally this was just a T Junction with Chase Way and Chase Side, but that changed when ASDA was constructed some years ago. The Waggon was originally the Waggon and Horses, and at one time was a Schooner Inn, with very rustic decor inside. Then it changed its name and for a while was called the Haywain. The most recent makeover has seen it almost return to its original name.
