A victim of the 2008 "credit crunch", the future of HBOS is far from certain. A potential take-over bid from Lloyds-TSB is in the pipeline, which could bring big changes to Maybole's High Street. The town's other bank, the RBS, is in Whitehall Image - at the moment.
