The Waterloo Inn in Wollaston, a village now part of the Stourbridge urban area, is looking for a new licensee. The sign says "Make a difference to this local - you run it!" No doubt it's a splendid business opportunity for the right person but prospective applicants need to take on board that this pub does not seem to have a car park, there are at least four open pubs within a very short walk of this, a few doors away is a thriving off-licence and directly opposite is a new Aldi supermarket offering cheap booze. So the alcohol seeker round here is spoilt for choice! But it would be a shame to lose yet another Black Country pub so hopefully someone will come along and make a success of it. Re-opened in 2010 as a restaurant. Image Image
