Walsall station - platform 1 annex

This somewhat unusual annex to Walsall station results from reopening of platform 1 to traffic when services were reintroduced between Walsall and Rugeley. The other platforms are served by facilities integrated into the town centre's shopping mall. The new building sits roughly on the site of the old goods shed, which I photographed way back in 1979!
