This photograph was taken right on the western edge of the grid box. It shows tenement housing, an old jute factory and Dens Park stadium (home ground of Dundee FC). The Hilltown Clock is a well known landmark in this part of Dundee. Generations of Dundee children (when their parents need a break) have been told to 'awa an see the time oan the Hulltoon clock'!
