Pinegrove Country Club was a popular Nightclub-cum-Sports Club in the 1990's and expanded by adding new buildings including the Large Gymnasium Hall as seen on the right of site. Its popularity waned and it closed in 2004; soon afterwards it was ruined in a fire. The site is still derelict and planning permission for housing on the site has been turned down, allegedly because the soil is polluted. This begs the question as to how the Pinegrove was allowed to be built there in the first place! The houses in the background are in Studfield Hill. Image
