One of life's quirky pubs (no, they will tell you they are normal, it is just everyone else who is odd). You'll have to go there to find out but be prepared to spend your time there looking at and reading all the nic-nacs, notices, ephemera. Oh, the real ale is excellent as well, and you can't get there by car. Cross the river by Bourne End railway bridge, or ring the bell on the opposite bank and the ferry will collect you. Or arrive by boat.
