Statue in the grounds of Belfast City Hospital (see Image). Ella Pirrie was the first head nurse of the Belfast Infirmary, taking up the post in 1883. She had earlier trained as a nurse with Florence Nightingale (I think this would have been at the Nightingale Training School at St Thomas's Hospital, London).
