The harbour Inn is 'stable' to the Blue Ribbon'Oss, one of the traditional Hobby Horses used in the May Day Festivities. The Old'Oss is stabled at the Golden Lion on Lanadwell Street. The 'osses and their supporters process through the town on the 1st of May to celebrate the greening of the spring. As the May Day Song goes:- "Unite and unite let us all unite, For summer is acome unto day, And whither we are going we will all unite, In the merry morning of May."
