The footpath between Lorbottle Weststeads and Follions is indistinct. with no indication as to which side of the field margins to follow. There is a footbridge and way marker at the stream crossing at NU017074 but this has been little used and the area leading to it is heavily overgrown. The correct path would be to stay on the left of the fence when approaching from Lorbottle Weststeads.
