The chancel is dated by the C12 pillar piscina; the nave and the long south transept - making the church L-shaped > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893531 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893547 - date from the 13th century; the tower was added a century later. The church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893331 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893542 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893553 was rebuilt and restored in the 18th and 19 centuries but has retained its C14 font > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893554. The stained glass windows are C19 - the east window > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893544 was made by Alexander Gibbs and the south transept windows > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893549 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893550 are by William Wailes. The grass in the eastern and northern sections of the churchyard has not been cut and conceals a 13th century stone coffin lid. The church is kept locked but a key is available on request.
