The chancel is dated by the C12 pillar piscina; the nave and the long south transept - making the church L-shaped > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893531 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/893547 - date from the 13th century; the tower was added a century later. The grass in the eastern and northern sections of the churchyard has not been cut and conceals a 13th century stone coffin lid. The church is kept locked but a key is available on request.
