Image: © Chris' Buet Taken: 4 Jul 2008

This photograph shows a view of the Postbox in Brookweed. As can be seen the Postbox is quite an old one, as the initials below the Queens crown on the Postbox door read G.R, which stands for George Royal, who was King George V the King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, at the time this Postbox was manufactured. This Postbox may have been located in another part of the Country prior to its present location, as this housing estate was built, about the middle of the 1970s.
