Viewed from the bridge over the A38. As one can see there are lots of new houses as the planners see the town as being well positioned being close to the A38. What most locals think is that it has now expanded to a size big enough to support local amenities (i.e. school, shops, pubs etc.) but enough is enough and now they want these new houses built elsewhere and let other places take their share.
