The most successful London bus ever was not the Routemaster, beloved of Boris Johnson, but its predecessor, the Regent Type, or RT, of which over 7000 were built, including minor variants. This nicely preserved example, in the livery of London Transport's Country Bus fleet, was seen in Woking.
