Listergate once formed the main exit south from the city centre to Trent Bridge, and is wide enough to accommodate street performance as well as its heavy pedestrian flow. The artist is just landing on a pile of broken glass after diving through his hoop of knives. He has attracted a sizeable crowd, and a sizeable contribution to his collecting bowl.
