I think I forgot not wandering London recently was how Queen Victoria loved her Albert and her statues, here you get 2 for the price of one. This statue not be confused with the Albert Memorial about 200 yards behind was unveiled on June 10th 1863, so when I visited it was the 145th anniversary of the unveiling. Albert died in December 1861.
